FUTURE OF CATHOLIC COMMUNITY IN NORTH IOWA: Many months ago a task force was organized to make recommendations to the Archbishop concerning the future of the Catholic Community in North Iowa, Taking into consideration demographic shifts in population, priest personnel and the changing needs of the local community, the task force offered several options to the Archbishop for future decisions, After careful review, the Archbishop has made his decision and his letter of response to the task force members and the people of the Catholic Community in North Iowa is contained in the bulletin and HERE. There are a lot of issues to be worked out yet, but we do have a goal to move toward, It is the recommendation of the task force and the Archbishop has agreed that the two parishes in Mason City be merged into a single unit. There will still be two worship sites! No church building is closing. Please be patient with this process as it continues to develop and pray for the leadership of the parish as we move toward the future.

RCIA is for those who have not been baptized or those who have not received Eucharist, or those who have not been confirmed and want to consider experiencing God in a new and profound way. RCIA will begin again in the near future. Contact Karen Braden at 424-0803 if interested.
